Dillinger Ride Supports United Hospice Service

The annual Dillinger Ride held at the Inn Between Saloon in Lewisville and sponsored by Abate Region 7, raised $200 to support United Hospice Service (UHS) of Marlette Regional Hospital. This annual fundraiser took place on Saturday, May 29th.
The event was established eighteen years ago as a memorial tribute to the life of Jim (Dillinger) Friedland. Since Jim was a patient of hospice, his parents Willet and Joyce Friedland, along with family, friends and the saloon, decided to honor him by helping to support other patients and families receiving hospice care. The continued support and annual donations raised through the Dillinger Ride help to ensure that the best hospice care is available to patients and their families throughout the Thumb region.
The Dillinger Ride is held each year on the Saturday before Memorial Day at the Inn Between Saloon in Port Hope. For more information about United Hospice Service, please call 800-635-7490 or visit www.marletteunitedhospice.org.
