Deckerville Val & Sal Announced

Lauren Maier, is the Class of 2019 Valedictorian. She is the daughter of Michael and Michelle Maier of Deckerville. Lauren is the Deckerville High School’s National Honor Society secretary and has enjoyed her time serving and participating in NHS events. She is also a member of the Career Center Biotech program and Sanilac County FFA Chapter. She has participated at the District and Regional levels in leadership competitions. She plans to attend SVSU to pursue a career in the field of Biology.

Rachel Thompson is the Class of 2019 Salutatorian. She is the daughter of Bill and Brenda Thompson. Rachel is the Deckerville High School’s National Honor Society vice president and has participated in events promoting the organization in her community. She plans to attend SVSU to pursue a career in the field of Elementary Education.
