Eagles clinch NCTL, Districts Next Week

Last week, the Lady Eagles won against Caseville and Dryden, and went 1-2-1 at the Laker Invite.
On October 20, the Lady Eagles defeated Caseville, in three hard-fought games, 26-24, 25-20, 25-14.
Madisyn Guza had 37 digs for the night; Cassandra Wagester 20-22 serving, 5 aces, 21 assists; Mackenzy Bowerman 27 digs, 10 kills; Karyn McConnachie 14 kills; Olivia Espinoza 7 kills.
On October 22, the Lady Eagles played at home against Dryden, winning in three, 25-7, 25-13, 25-9.
This group effort give the Eagles a 17-7-4 overall record.
On Saturday, October 24, the girls were at the Laker Tourney, going 1-2-1.
They defeated Memphis, 25-8, 25-13; lost to Brown City, 15-25, 14-25; tied with Cass City, 25-19, 21-25; lost to Laker, 18-25, 13-25.
For the Eagles, Madisyn Guza 52 digs; Cassandra Wagester 43-44 serving, 21 assists; Karyn McConnachie 21 kills.
The Eagles will be in district action next Tuesday, at Kingston, against Kingston, at 6:00 p.m., and the winner of that game will take on the winner of the Peck vs CPS game, which will also be held on Tuesday at Kingston, at 7:00 p.m.
