Sandusky Announces Top of 2019 Class

Valedictorian Emma Roggenbuck plans to attend the University of Michigan to pursue a degree in molecular biology. During high school, Emma has been active in Band, including being drum major, Theater, and National Honor Society. She has been a member of the Sandusky District Library Teen Advisory Board as well as participating in many local community projects including, The Moving Wall, the Diamond Trail Fitness Project, highway clean ups and Relay for Life. Emma’s academic interests have included Academic Games and Quiz Bowl.
Emma has had a lifelong love of the Arts and Sciences. She received the Sidney J. and Irene Shipman Scholarship from the University of Michigan. Emma is the daughter of Leon and Amy Roggenbuck of Sandusky, Michigan.

Jack Sheridan


Salutatorian Jack Sheridan is planning to attend Michigan StateUniversity. He plans to study either kinesiology or supply chain management. Jack has participated in many high school sports including football and basketball. He is a member of the Student Council, the National Honor Society and the Sandusky Presbyterian Church. Jack has been an active participant in several community projects including, Toys for Tots, Sandusky Summer Recreation, Flags of Remembrance and Food for Friends. His academic interests included being a member of the Academic Games math team. Jack is the son of Steven and Heather Sheridan of Sandusky, Michigan.
