Downtown Deli & Catering is Success
Located at 54 South Elk Street, Downtown Deli & Catering is a family ran cafe that has had a bustling first month of business.
“We’re pretty impressed with how things have been going so far,” owner Jim Hacker said of business. “People seem to love the food. We’ve had a lot of return customers.”
Downtown Deli & Catering features a vast menu of wraps, grinders, subs, paninis, and specialty soups and salads.
“Our soups are homemade everyday and our sandwiches and salads are made fresh to order,” Hacker said. The deli also offers lunch specials each day that deviate from the everyday menu. Hacker explained that Thursday’s hot pulled pork has become a favorite.
Downtown Deli & Catering is the perfect spot to dine in on lunch break and also offers carry-out and free delivery within a one mile radius of Sandusky.
“We love when customers call in advance, before our lunch rush from 11:30-1:30. Then we can have their lunch ready and waiting for them,” Hacker said.
Downtown Deli & Catering also caters delicious lunches and events like birthdays, bridal showers, and rehearsals.
