Sandusky Kiwanis Start New Tradition

SANDUSKY- the Kiwanis Club of Sandusky is holding its first Toy Show and Sale this fall at Sandusky Maple Valley School. The event features toys such as model tractors, farm toys, and die cast items. All proceeds made will benefit the Kiwanis Club programs for children.
The toy show starts at 10:00 a.m. and will go until 3:00 p.m. Tickets are available for $3 per person or $5 for a family and children under 12 are free. There is plenty of parking provided free of charge. Food and refreshments will be served as well.
There is also room still available to take part in the toy show. Eight-foot tables can be purchased for $10 or at the door for $14. Badges are also needed to participate and two are offered per table. Set-up for dealers begins at 7:30 a.m.
“We are looking forward to trying a new and exciting event to raise money for the Kiwanis Club programs for children,” said Don Wixson, Sandusky Kiwanis Club president. “It will be fun to see all the toys from around the area. Bring the kids and enjoy a Sunday filled with toys and good company all while supporting a worthy cause.”
The Kiwanis Club of Sandusky is part of a larger organization called Kiwanis International. The club is a global group of volunteers who work to change the world through helping better the lives of children. Just last year alone the Kiwanis Club of Sandusky raised over $12,000 for organizations in their area.
The 1st annual Toy Show and Sale will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20 at Sandusky Maple Valley School.
