Hills & Dales welcomes Andrea Hill to Healthcare Team

CASS CITY – Hills & Dales General Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Andrea Hill of Ruth to our healthcare team. Andrea will practice as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) at Thumb Pediatrics with Dr. Nancy Wade and at Cass City Family Practice with Dr. Donald Robbins.
As a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Andrea has special certification & training to care for patient’s newborn – age 21. Andrea comes to Hills & Dales with a Bachelors of Science in Wellness, Health Promotion and Injury Prevention, as well as a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, both from Oakland University. She then earned her Masters of Science in Nursing- as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Michigan. Andrea worked at Detroit Receiving Hospital and William Beaumont Hospital as an RN. Andrea belongs to the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and also certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Trauma Nursing Core Course, & Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course.
Andrea is thrilled to start practicing in a small town setting, saying, “As I worked in different clinics and hospital settings, I knew I wanted to move back home to practice as a nurse practitioner. My calling is to take care of children and I couldn’t be more excited to have the opportunity to do so at Hills & Dales. Working with both Dr. Wade and Dr. Robbins will give me a wide variety of patients to see and a wealth of knowledge to continue to learn from.”
