SISD Board approves Posting for Jobs

The Sanilac Intermediate School Board met on March 20.
The Consent Agenda was approved as presented.
The Agenda was approved as presented.
The minutes from the Regular Meeting – February 13, were approved.
Payment of monthly bills were approved: General Education $470,028.52; Special Education $569,144.34; Career-Technical Preparation $436,928.52; Total $1,476,101.38
The Monthly Budget Report was approved.
The Sanilac ISD Board of Education approved the resignation/retirement of Pat Beauchamp as an IST for the Health Occupation Program. Pat has been with the district since 2004 (19 years).
The Sanilac ISD Board of Education approved the appointments of Leann Kerr, Jessica Royale and Karen Anklam to represent Peck Community Schools on the Parent Advisory Committee.
The Sanilac ISD Board of Education approved to post Internal/External for a Teacher for the Intermediate Transition Program for the 2023-2024 School Year.
The Board approved to post Internal/External for a Teacher for the Severely Cognitive Impaired Program for the 2023-2024 School Year.
They agreed to post for a Summer School Instructional Staff position.
The Sanilac ISD Board of Education approved to post for a Summer School IST Position(s).
Duane Lange, Superintendent, presented his Administrative Report:
CBA 101 School Board Member Course was held Thursday, March 16th and was well received. The second night of the course will be held on Thursday March 23, from 6:00 –9:00 p.m. at the Sanilac Career Center.
The Sanilac Career Center Awards Night is scheduled for April 19, at 7:00 p.m., at the Miracle of Life Barn located at the Sanilac County Fairgrounds.
Presented the School Board Members with information pertaining to the General Fund for the 2023-2024 School Year that he will be providing the local school boards for their approval and Resolution for the 2023-2024 School Year.
Renee Jansen, Special Education Director, presented her Administrative Report:
54D Grant was approved. Funds will be used to relocate the Sound Booth from the Kids Connection to the Jackson Street Office.
March is Reading Month and staff have been taking turns reading chapters of the book Clementine. Thank you staff for taking part of this activity.
The meeting adjourned at 6:36 p.m.
The next regular meeting will be held on Monday, April 17, at 6:00 p.m., at the Sanilac Career Center, 175 East Aitken Road, Peck.
