United Hospice Service Celebrates Recertification & 5-Star Rating
On Tuesday, September 27, United Hospice Service (UHS) of Marlette Regional Hospital celebrated a successful federal recertification and 5-star rating! Hospice Manager, Shelli Greschaw says, “We are extremely grateful for the hardworking staff, dedicated volunteers and giving community members that support United Hospice Service. I am extremely proud of the UHS team as we are one in five hospice services in Michigan and only 10% nationwide that hold this rating!”
The Employee Experience Team hosted a United Healthcare Partners celebration by providing cider and donuts to the staff at Marlette Regional Hospital, Deckerville Community Hospital, and The Heartlands. To honor the passing of a loved one, staff was encouraged to write a name and message on a leaf and hang it on the memorial tree that was displayed during the celebration.
