   Zoning Ordinance Amendment #21-12.17
   SUMMARY OF CHANGES TO THE CUSTER TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE KNOWN AS THE HOME OCCUPATION MEDICAL MARIHUANA PRIMARY CAREGIVERS AND FACILITIES ORDINANCE
2. Medical Marihuana Caregivers under the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act, Initiated Law 1 of 2008, are regulated as a home occupation under the Custer Township Zoning Ordinance requiring application and site plan approval. Caregivers are limited to occupied dwellings by special approval to the following zoning districts:
   AR AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, SECTION 5.02
   ARTICLE VI R SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT SECTION 6.02
   ARTICLE VII MPH MANUFACTURED HOUSING PARK SECTION 7.02
3. Effective Date: This zoning ordinance amendment shall take effect upon the expiration of seven days after this publication.
4. Summary of Regulatory Effect and Geographic Zone: The effect of the zoning amendment is Medical Marihuana Caregivers are regulated as Permitted Use only after Special Approval and only allowed only in residential zoning districts: AR Agricultural-Residential, R Single Family Residential District MPH Manufactured Housing Park.
