Passed: Councilperson Bissett moved, Schramm seconded to approve the minutes of November 20, 2023 as presented.
Passed: Councilperson Stone moved, Mitchell seconded to approve the bills in the amount of $450,298.77.
Passed: Councilperson Bissett moved, Barr seconded to approve the agenda as printed.
Passed: Councilperson Bissett moved, Barr seconded to adjourn at 5:47 p.m.

Regular Meeting Minutes
November 27, 2023

The Deckerville Community Schools Board of Education met in regular session on November 27, 2023 in the high school library.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Board President Brandon Stolicker.
Members present: Richard Hamill, Danielle Walsh, Randee Kirkpatrick, Curt Vogel, Brandon Stolicker
Members absent: Jason McConnachie, Kendra Messing
Administrators present: Matthew Connelly, Josh Stern, Aaron Sutherland
Motion by Curt Vogel, support by Danielle Walsh to adopt the agenda for the November 27, 2023 Regular Meeting. Carried.
Motion by Richard Hamill, support by Danielle Walsh to approve the minutes of the October 23, 2023 regular meeting. Carried.
Motion by Curt Vogel, support by Richard Hamill to approve the General Fund bills in the amount of $147,817.89 as presented. Carried.
Motion by Curt Vogel, support by Richard Hamill to approve the Athletic fund bills in the amount of $1,950.00 as presented. Carried.
Motion by Richard Hamill, support by Curt Vogel to approve the Student/School Activity Fund bills in the amount of $5,816.01 as presented. Carried.
Motion by Curt Vogel , support by Richard Hamill to approve the Food Service Fund bills in the amount of $18,205.77 as presented. Carried.
The Board reviewed the prompt pay bills for October 2023.
The Board heard reports from administrative staff Aaron Sutherland, Elementary Principal, and Josh Stern, High School Principal.
Motion by Curt Vogel, support by Richard Hamill to approve the hiring of Melissa Laming for the Elementary Social-Emotional Learning Specialist. Carried.
Motion by Curt Vogel, support by Richard Hamill to adjourn at 7:26 p.m. Carried.

Passed: Council person Kubik moved, Cesefske seconded to approve the agenda with the addition of John Block to the agenda.
Passed: Council person West moved, Cesefske seconded to approve the minutes of November 13th as presented.
Passed: Council person Kubik moved, Dore seconded to accept November’s Police, Fire & Treasurer’s
reports.
Passed: Council person Kubik moved, Noble seconded to approve the bills in the amount of $164,886.97
Passed: Council person Noble, seconded by Ridley to approve employee paid time off as of 12/11/2023.
