NOTICE MARLETTE BOARD OF EDUCATION VACANCY

The Marlette Board of Education announces a vacancy on the Board of Education for the term of September 1, 2023 through December 31, 2024. Anyone wishing to be considered for appointment to fill this vacancy should notify the secretary of the Board of Education at the following address:

Such notification should be accompanied by a brief biographical sketch and a statement setting forth the reasons why the person desires consideration and his/her interest in and ideas about public education.
Qualification necessary to apply are (1) must be registered and qualified school elector; (2) must be at least eighteen (18) years of age; (3) must be a citizen of the United States; (4) must be a resident of the state of Michigan for at least thirty (30) days prior to the date of appointment.
