COMMISSION
NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING

The Village of Peck Planning Commission will hold a
public hearing on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 6:00
p.m., at the Village of Peck Offices, 30 E. Lapeer St., Peck,
MI 48466. The hearing is regarding the comprehensive
revisions to the Village’s Zoning Ordinance. The revisions
include changes to the following articles:
• Article 1 – Short Title, Purpose, and Authority, Sections
1.00 through 1.03.
• Article 2 – Definitions.
• Article 3 – Land Use Districts, Sections 3.00 through 3.06.
• Article 4 – General Provisions, Sections 4.00 through
4.02, 4.04, 4.05, 4.07 through 4.14, 4.16, 4.17, 4.19
through 4.25, 4.28, and 4.30.
• Article 5 – Site Plan Review, Sections 5.00 through 5.02,
5.04, 5.05, 5.06, 5.07, and 5.12.
• Article 6 – Special Land Uses, Sections 6.02, 6.03, and
6.07.
• Article 7 – Village Planning Commission.
• Article 8 – Zoning Board of Appeals.
• Article 9 – Administration and Enforcement.
• Article 10 – Amendments and Conditional Rezoning.
• Article 11 – Validity and Effective Date.
All interested parties are encouraged to attend the public
hearing or to provide written comment on the revised
Zoning Ordinance which will provide for the regulation of
land development, the continuance of zoning districts that
regulate the use of land and structures in the Village of
Peck, and promote the public health, safety, and welfare
within the Village.
Copies of the proposed revisions to the Village’s Zoning
Ordinance are available at the Village of Peck Offices, 30
E. Lapeer St., Peck, MI 48466. Written comments on the
proposed Zoning Ordinance amendments can be mailed
to the Village Offices up to February 15, 2023. Individuals
with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services who
are planning to attend the public hearing should notify
the Village at (810)378-5131 at least two days prior to the
public hearing.
