‘Beach spoils Sandusky
Homecoming

Sandusky hosted Harbor Beach last Friday for Sandusky’s annual homecoming game. Harbor Beach drew first blood with a pair of touchdowns in the first half to bring the score to 14-0.
Sandusky fought back with a score of their own in the third quarter but failed on the conversion. Harbor Beach scored a touchdown in both the third and fourth quarters to spoil Sandusky’s Homecoming festivities.
Jackson Reinke had the lone touchdown of the evening for Sandusky with 35 yards on 9 rushing attempts. Carter Krause added 46 yards on 10 carries. Tyler Franzel added 23 yards on 3 rushing attempts. Kyle Guibord ran 56 yards on 12 carries, with 37 passing yards on 3 completions. Brenden Long had two catches for a total of 20 yards receiving and Tyler Lamm caught one pass and scampered for 17 yards.
Kory Lambson, Mitchell Davis and Tyler Franzel each racked up 7 tackles in the loss to Harbor Beach.
The Loss brings Sandusky’s record to 1-3 on the season.
Sandusky is out of the frying pan and into the fryer this Friday when they trade the 3-1 Pirates for the undefeated Bearcats in Ubly.
