The 2022 Sanilac County Youth & 4-H Fair will be continuing its Grandstand events with thrilling, loud motor competitions.
The Bump-N-Run will please crowds on Wednesday night, August 10. A new event, SXS Racing, is sure to fill the stands on Thursday night, August 11! Both the events start promptly at 7:00 p.m. “Both of these shows are going to be huge hits with fairgoers!” reports Amy Kerbyson, The Youth & 4-H Fair board President. “We’re expecting big crowds bothnights, so people should be sure to arrive early to grab good seats!”
“The Bump-N-Run on Wednesday, August 10, will challenge drivers to navigate cars through an exciting, fast-paced course while bumping into other vehicles. Drivers maneuver their cars along the track in this highly aggressive competition racing around a moto-cross track while colliding along the way,” explains Kerbyson. “Bump-N-Run shows are full of fun and excitement for the whole family! In this event, the drivers with the most wits and mobility will be the first to cross the line!
“Don’t forget Tuesday and Wednesday have discounted admission for Senior Citizens (60 years and older) and Veterans. On these days, admission is only $7 before 3:00 p.m., for people in those groups. “Everyone will be allowed to leave and come back later that day by getting their hand-stamped by the gate admission attendant.”
SXS, a brand-new event takes over the grandstands Thursday night, August11, at 7:00 p.m.! “We are very excited to bring new talent to the fair this year, and hope the community is just as excited as we are!” states Kerbyson “It will be a great show, be sure to get your seats!”

The fun doesn’t end there, Monster Truck rides will be offered from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.! The Monster Trucks will be at the fairgrounds Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, offering rides and performing during intermission at the Grandstands! “You will not want to miss seeing these large trucks perform!” shares Kerbyson.
Gate price for the Fair on Monday only is $10, $15 daily Tuesday through Thursday, and $20 Friday and Saturday. These prices include parking, rides, and admission to the grandstand. “Mega-tickets also are available at the Fair Board Office on the fairgrounds at 260 Dawson St. until noon on Sunday, August 7, while the limited supplies last!” reports Kerbyson. “Mega-tickets are a great value.
