Jankowski graduates Magna Cum Laude

Adam Stephan Jankowski, 23, from Sandusky, graduated May 17, 2015, from The George Washington University, in Washington, DC. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Arts in Asian Studies at the Elliott School of International Affairs.

During his two year program, Adam held several internship positions. He interned at the Hudson Institute, Council on Foreign Relations, National Defense University, and American Foreign Policy Council. Some responsibilities included: writing briefing books for Congressional delegations that went to China, helped translate foreign policy books from English to Chinese, and traveled with a delegation from the Communist Chinese Party as they toured and met top officials in Austin, Texas. Previously in 2013, he graduated from The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations focusing on political science and Chinese Studies with honors in both departments. Adam is also a 2009 graduate of Sandusky High School graduating with a 3.98 GPA.

Adam is the son of Dr. Stephan and Louise Jankowski from Sandusky. He is the grandson of Paul and the late Marie Sowa from Bay City, Michigan, and Norbert and the late Carol Jankowski from Caro, Michigan.
