Lady Eagles continue Winning Ways
Lady Eagles defeat Kingston and North Huron in Four; Fare at Marlette Tourney
On October 13, the Lady Eagles traveled to Kingston, winning in four closely matched games, 27-25, 25-18, 22-25 and 25-16.
For Deckerville, Madisyn Guza 19-19 serving, 35 digs; Cassandra Wagester 26 assists, 27 digs; Karyn McConnachie 13 kills; Olivia Espinoza 8 kills.
On October 15, the Deckerville Eagles hosted North Huron, and won in four games, 23-25, 25-19, 25-19 and 25-17.
Madisyn Guza was 17-17 serving and 27 digs; Cassandra Wagester had 18 digs, 6 kills and 9 assists; Mackenzy Bowerman 10 kills; Karyn McConnachie 18 kills; and Olivia Espinoza 8 kills.
At the Marlette Tournament on Saturday, the Lady Eagles lost one, tied two and won three.
The girls started out with a loss against Laker, in a close match, 23-25 and 22-25. They tied with Sandusky, 17-25 and 25-22 and also with Marlette, 25-23 and 18-25. The Lady Eagles defeated Memphis, 25-10 and 25-10; and defeated Capac, 25-23, 25-16.
For the Eagles, Mackenzy Bowerman was 31-31 serving, had 67 digs and 19 kills; Cassandra Wagester 45-47 serving, 41 digs and 35 assists; Karyn McConnachie had 34 kills and 6 blocks; and Madisyn Guza 45 digs.
