The baseball season came to an end for Sandusky last week when they came out on the short end of a 14-2 score with Laker. Right from the opening inning, Redskins pitching struggled with control, issuing five walks, giving up 13 hits and allowing 10 earned runs to the GTC crossover powerhouse squad.

Laker went on to win the title, beating Cass City in the championship round. Sandusky gave up three runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings and five in the sixth.

The Redskins scored their runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Riley Davidson reached base on a fielder’s choice and later scored on a RBI double by Ethan Tubbs. Paco Dorman scored Sandusky’s final run following a single, taking second on a wild pitch. He scored on a RBI single to left field by Tate Larson.

Larson finished the game with two hits and a RBI while other hits came from Tubbs, Dorman and John Dorman.
