Redskin Review

The fall season has once again presented us with one of the most exciting moments of the year, Homecoming. This past Friday, preparations for this event began with our first pep assembly of the year. However, the most important moment is still yet to come, the Homecoming football game in October where the crowning will take place.
The past assembly began with our marching band parading down the hallway with pep tunes in hand, getting everyone even more excited for the oncoming announcements. Then Mrs. Stringer gave recognition to every fall Redskin athlete. In addition, Ben Jones, a former Sandusky football player and Marine Officer, took the time to speak to the student body and, not only encourage us to strive throughout high school, but after graduation as well. Furthermore, this was an excellent beginning of the year and it’s sure to only get better!
Moreover, our Homecoming candidates were finally announced this past Friday. Our possible royal couples include Leah Rourke and Matt Alexander, Caroline Ross and Brandon Potter, Madison Polewach and Joe Stone, and Kayla Krueger and Chase Tucker. These following weeks are sure to be full of exciting campaigning with such excellent candidates. Hence, good luck to them all with their road to royalty!
