Special Meeting Minutes
Monday, March 13, 2023,
5:30 p.m.

The Deckerville Community Schools Board of Education met for a Special Meeting on March 13, 2023 in the high school library at 5:30 p.m.
Members present: Curt Vogel, Jason McConnachie, Kendra Messing, Randee Kirkpatrick, Brandon Stolicker, Amy Dumaw, Richard Hamill.
Motion by Curt Vogel, support by Kendra Messing to adopt the March 13, 2023 Special Meeting Agenda. Carried.
Rich Ramsey from MASB reviewed the results of the staff/community survey with the Board.
Rich Ramsey from MASB reviewed interview questions for rounds 1 and 2 with input from the Board.
Rich Ramsey from MASB reviewed a Superintendent Profile with input from the Board.
Motion by Kendra Messing, support by Amy Dumaw to go into closed session at 6:37 p.m. to discuss a contract for the new Superintendent. Roll call: Amy Dumaw–yes; Jason McConnachie–yes; Brandon Stolicker– yes; Randee Kirkpatrick–yes; Richard Hamill–yes; Kendra Messing–yes; Curt Vogel–yes. Motion Carried.
Motion by Jason McConnachie, support by Curt Vogel to return to open session at 7:21 p.m. Roll call: Amy Dumaw – yes; Jason McConnachie – yes; Brandon Stolicker – yes; Randee Kirkpatrick – yes; Richard Hamill – yes; Kendra Messing – yes; Curt Vogel – yes. Motion Carried.
Motion by Amy Dumaw, support by Kendra Messing to adjourn at 7:22 p.m. Carried.
