PURPOSE:
Review and make decision on request for a special
land use being sought on property #071-070-001-
003-00, 18 E. Lapeer St, due to the fact of property
being zoned commercial and property owner wanting
to place two (2) apartments on the first floor, does
not meet village ordinance specifications. Property is
located within the Village of Peck, County of Sanilac
and State of Michigan described as:

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
SANDUSKY DIAMOND TRAIL PARK IMPROVEMENTS
CITY OF SANDUSKY
SANILAC COUNTY, MICHIGAN

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Sandusky Street
Improvements will be received, by the City of Sandusky, at
the office of the City of Sandusky Hall 26W. Speaker Street,
Sandusky, MI 48471, until 1:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, April
30, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened
and read. The Project consists of improvements to Sandusky
Diamond Trail Park located on Park Street involving but not
limited to the following work items:
Bathroom Structure
Water Fountain (Bi-Level)
Water and Sewer Utilities including Grinder Station
Electric Utilities including solar panels
New water fountain
1,200 sft Concrete surfaces
1,895 syds of HMA and Parking lot improvements
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Townley
Engineering, LLC, chris@townleyengineering.com, www.townley
engineering.com. Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the
Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
A Pre-Bid conference will be held at 11:00 a.m. on April 16,
2024, at Sandusky City Hall 26 West Speaker Street, Sandusky,
MI 48471. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be
present to discuss the Project. Bidders are encouraged to attend
and participate in the conference. Engineer will transmit to
all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer
considers necessary in response to questions arising at the
conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not
be binding or legally effective.Bidding
Documents also may be examined at the Construction
Association of Michigan and the Lansing and Grand Rapids
Builder’s Exchange. Builder’s Exchanges are authorized to
share the contract documents with other exchanges.
Bidding Documents may be ordered via email after April
4, 2024, by contacting with the Issuing Office at chris@
townleyengineering.com, with Sandusky Diamond Trail Park
Improvements in the subject line.
Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents
may be downloaded from the Issuing Office’s website as
portable document format (PDF) files. Partial sets of the Bidding
Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the
Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to accept
or reject any bid which is considered in the best interest of the
Owner.
