VILLAGE of DECKERVILLE
Resident Notice

The Village of Deckerville is requesting
residents to refrain from blowing grass
clippings into the street when mowing
your grass. This causes the blocking of the
storm drains and catch basins that results
in flooding of the street and property.

VILLAGE OF DECKERVILLE
Uncut Grass Notice

Notice to owners, possessors or occupiers of
land or any persons, firm or corporation having
charge of any land within the limits of the Village
of Deckerville, State of Michigan.
Notice is hereby given that all weeds, grass,
or vegetation growing on any land in the Village of
Deckerville, County of Sanilac, must not exceed
8″(inches) in height. Nuisance grass and weed
cutting costs of $200 per cutting and $100 per
hour after the 1st hour. Failure to comply with this
notice shall make the parties liable for the cost of
cutting, inspection, and administration as a debt
to the Village, being collectable by judgement or
to be levied in the same manner as other taxes
are levied and collected.

Watertown Township
Planning Commission Notice

The Watertown Township
Planning Commission has postponed
the planned public hearing for the
consideration of a special land use
appplication to consider approving a
site plan and special approval (special
land use) application submitted by
Watertown Solar, LLC, for a large
solar energy system proposed to be
constructed east of South Sandusky
Road on parcels south of Sanilac
Road and north of East Frenchline
Road. The hearing planned for
Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
will be rescheduled for a May 2024
date to be determined.
