Deputies Promoted to Sergeant and Det. Sergeant
Sheriff Paul D. Rich is pleased to announce the promotion of Deputy Todd Laming to the rank of Uniform Services Division Sergeant. Sergeant Laming holds an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and has been with the Sheriff’s Office since 2009. Sergeant Laming has served as a Uniform Services Deputy, Fire Investigation Team Investigator, Medical Examiner Special Investigator and a Field Training Officer. Sergeant Laming will start his new duties as a shift commander officially on Sunday, July 16, 2023.

also pleased to announcethe assignment of Sergeant Christopher Kravitsky to the position of Detective/Sergeant starting on July 28th.
Detective Sergeant Kravisky a 13 year veteran of the Sheriff’s Office will be replacing Detective/Sergeant Steven McKenney who will be retiring after 25 years of service. Detective/Sergeant Kravitsky has served as a Uniform Services Deputy, Medical Examiner Special Investigator, Drug Task Force Investigator, Traffic Crash Investigator and Uniform Services Division Sergeant.

I also want to congratulate Detective/Sergeant McKenney on his retirement and thank him for his 25 years of service to the Sheriff’s Office and Citizens of Sanilac County.” stated Sanilac County Sheriff Paul Rich.
