Eagles Eliminated by BC

After a victory against Kingston in the regional semi-finals, the Deckerville Eagles traveled to Brown City on Friday night for regional finals. But, the boys took the loss, 6-52.
Brown City scored first, and that seemed to set the momentum for the game. The Eagles lone touchdown came in the second quarter, when quarterback Hunter Garza ran in a touchdown. The Green Devils scored 16 in the first quarter, 14 in the second, 16 in the third and 6 in the fourth.
The Eagles were 44-149 rushing, with Hunter Garza 17-71, 1 touchdown; Dylan Ball 15-37; Parker Merriman 6-30; Kris Kosal 3-4; and Corbin Sharbowski 1-7.
Deckerville was 10-12-79 yards passing, with 1 interception. Receving were Connor Palmer 3-51; Derek Osborne 2-8; David Shanks 1-13; and Parker Merriman 1-7.
