Escapee Voluntarily turns Himself In

Wanted Inmate Aaron Anthony Roll is back in the custody of the Sanilac County Jail after he voluntarily turned himself in at about 12:40 p.m., on Sunday, August 22.
The Sheriff’s Office had received numerous tips and was assisted by severalcitizens and law enforcement agencies.
On Thursday, August 19, at approximately 10:20 a.m., Aaron Anthony Roll age 27, an inmate at the Sanilac County Jail was working as an Inmate Worker on the Inmate Work Crew Program at a job site in Flynn Township when he walked away.
The Sheriff’s Office Inmate Work Crew Program has been in place for many years and utilizes lower classification inmates to perform community service within the Sanilac County community.
