Mark the Barber Progressive Auction
As part of Mark the Barber’s Polar Run/Walk for Life on January 8, Mark will be holding a progressive auction – in which Mark will have his complete moustache or part of it (to the corner of his mouth) shaved off by the highest bidder.
All you have to do is drop off your bid money, as many times as you would like to the barber shop, or mail a check to Right to Life of Sanilac County (RTLSC) and mail it to 41 S. Elk St., Sandusky, MI 48471. If, by chance, $10,000 is raised, his complete moustache will be shaved. Mark will be keeping a tab at the barber shop, and also on Facebook, showing how much money/bids have been placed. All money must be received by January 7, 2023 to be counted.
The annual Polar Run/Walk for Life event will raise money for the Sanilac Baby Pantry, located at Maple Valley Elementary.
The Polar Run/Walk for Life event is sponsored by Right to Life of Sanilac County. People can still register for the Run/Walk by going to https://runsignup.com/Race/MI/Sandusky/MarktheBarbers PolarRunWalkforLife or can register the day of the event, which begins at 1:00 p.m., at Maple Valley School, 138 Maple Valley St., Sandusky.
