Marlette Family HealthCare Welcomes New Doctor
Marlette Regional Hospital (MRH) welcomes the addition of board-certified family medicine physician, Mark Boules, MD to the medical staff. Dr. Boules has joined family nurse practitioner Shannon Swanson, MSN, FNP-BC, and the staff of Marlette Family HealthCare. Originally from Michigan, he spent most of his childhood growing up in Troy, where he currently resides. He shares, “I feel as though I have always been part of this community, despite my short tenure here, I look forward to learning about, meeting and serving Marlette and its surrounding communities in the thumb to the best of my ability.”
Dr. Boules received his medical degree from St. George’s School of Medicine and completed his residency in rural family medicine at Central Washington Family Medicine Residency Program. During his residency, he focused his training on family medicine to support rural communities and practice full-spectrum family medicine. He shares, “My training shaped my career path and my goals as a physician. My experience was unique because I trained in a big city hospital while returning to my base in a small rural community, Ellensburg, Washington, a community very similar to communities in the thumb. I was focused on aiding rural communities as much as I could in lieu of visits to specialists while remaining in the scope of family practice.”
Dr. Boules provides primary care medical services to patients of all ages.
