Polynesian Putt; Lots of Fun Under the Stars

The Sanilac Area Violence Elimination Council held the Annual Polynesian Putt Moonlight Golf Scramble on Friday, August 26th at Woodland Hills Golf Course. The event started at 7:00 p.m. with the Putting and Chipping contests. This year’s skilled winners were Brandon Blank for the Chipping Contest and TeJe Garland for the Putting Contest.
The 9 -hole moon light best ball scramble kicked off at dusk, and ended with the team of Kurt & Shannon Kreger and Craig and Jodi Krause with the winning low score and new event record of 19 stokes.
The winners were awarded YETI tumblers that included a coupon for each player to enjoy18 holes of golf at Verona Hills. Other winners were the Blank /Radloff team for Best Hawaiian Shirts, winning YETI can koozies. Jessica Koroleski was the lucky winner of the 50/50 raffle and Nick Miller was the lucky winner of the YETI Cooler raffle package.
The golf scramble raised $11,106.00 to help support the Eva’s Place Shelter.
