‘Skins Football back on Track
The Sandusky Redskins got back on track this past Friday, when they defeated Brown City 52-14.
Quarter scores: Sandusky 14-14-8-16; Brown City 0-0-6-8.
The Skins 14 points in the first quarter were from Carter Krause on a 28-yard run, and 2-point conversion run by Ray Guibord and a Martin Tovar 16-yard run (2-point conversion failed). The Sandusky defense held Brown City scoreless in the quarter. In the second quarter, Martin Tovar had a 16-yard run for a touchdown (conversion failed) and a Tyler Franzel 2-yard run, with Martin Tovar catching a pass for the conversion. Again, the Redskin defense held the Green Devils scoreless. Brown City got on board in the third quarter, also capitalizing on their conversion. Tyler Franzel scored for Sandusky on a run, with Tovar on the receiving end of the conversion. In the fourth quarter, Easton Jager had a 55-yard run for Brown City, with the 2-point conversion complete. Sandusky controlled the rest of the quarter, scoring twice, on a Jackson Reinke 5-yard run (Tyler Franzel run good) and an Ethan Viscogliosi 1-yard run (Alex Bays 2-point conversion good).
