Tractor/Pickup Pull And Demolition Derby finish 2022 Sanilac County Youth and 4H Fair Grandstand Events!

The 2022 Sanilac County Youth & 4-H Fair will complete their thrilling Grandstand Events with two premier motorsport events! The Tractor and Pickup Pull will perform on Friday night, August 12. The Demolition Derby will entertain the stands Saturday night, August 13. Both events start promptly at 7:00 p.m.
“These shows are perhaps the most popular performances of the week!” reports Amy Kerbyson, The Youth & 4-H Fair board President. “The Tractor and Pickup Pulls bring cheering crowds, and the Demolition Derby amazes fairgoers every year! If you’re as excited as we are to see these events, you’ll want to get your seat early.”
The Thumb Tractor Pulling Association’s exciting competition kicks off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12. There are two tracks that will run at the SAME time! Categories competing are 5500 V* Hot Rods, 6000 Farm, 6200 Modified Tractor, 8000 Diesel Pro Stock, 93 Super Farm, Light Limited Supers, 6200 Pro Street Pickups, 6200 Super Stock Pickups, Hot Diesel Pickups, 2.5/2.6 Diesel Pickups, Street Legal Pickups, and 10,000 Farm Tractors.
“Roaring engines and crunching metal will capture the attention of fairgoers during the Demolition Derby on Saturday, August 14 at 7:00 p.m.! This will be the final Grandstand event of the week! You won’t want to miss the action” Kerbyson says.
Don’t forget about all the amazing showmanship activities happening around the fairgrounds throughout Friday and Saturday! There is the Small and Large Livestock Sale, Small Animal Silent Action, and Entrepreneurship Silent Auction all happening on Friday! Large and Small Animal Sweepstakes Showmanship Competitions are happening on Saturday. “The community is a huge support in all our auctions, but especially the livestock sale on Friday!” share Kerbyson “We can’t wait to see everyone there!”

A recap of all the Grandstand Events happening during this fun fill fair week are as follows; Monday: Flying Star Rodeo, Tuesday: Figure 8 Derby, Wednesday: Bump-N-Run, Thursday: SXS Races, Friday: Truck and Tractor Pull, & Saturday: Demolition Derby! All events start at 7:00 p.m., and there will be a Monster Truck show during intermission at the Grandstands Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights! Gate price for the 4-H Fair on Monday ONLY is $10, $15 daily Tuesday through Thursday, and $20 Friday and Saturday. These prices include parking, rides, and admission to the grandstand. “Mega-tickets also are available at the Fair Board Office on the fairgrounds at 260 Dawson St. until noon on Sunday, August 7 while the limited supplies last!” reports Kerbyson. “Mega-tickets are a great value. For only $60, they include parking, daily admission into the 4-H Fair, Grandstand Events, and access to carnival rides!”
