United Healthcare Partners Board of Directors Announces new CEO

After a fulfilling career, Daniel Babcock, United Healthcare Partners CEO will be retiring on January 1, 2023. United Healthcare Partners (UHP) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Angie McConnachie has been named Chief Executive Officer.
McConnachie has served as Chief Operating Officer of UHP since 2020, prior to which she served as CEO of Deckerville Community Hospital. Dave Messing, United Healthcare Partners Chairman says, “We warmly welcome Angie to her new role, and we are confident our organizations will continue to prosper and grow under her strong leadership.”
McConnachie earned an Associate degree from SC4 and enjoyed working as an ER/Med-Surg RN. She received her BSN and MSN in Administration and Leadership from Western Governors University, followed by a certification in Healthcare Compliance. Born and raised in the Thumb, McConnachie went to Deckerville High School and has worked at Deckerville Community Hospital for over 18 years. Angie and her husband Jason have three children and enjoys watching kids play sports, reading, and just spending time outside.
“I am excited and honored to take on the role of CEO for United Healthcare Partners,” said McConnachie. “We have an amazing team and community support. I have worked in rural health for over 20 years, it is something that is very important to me. Healthcare never stops changing, but I look forward to building on our strong foundation as we continue to evolve to support the future needs of our communities. I am blessed to have the opportunity to work with such talented people to ensure we provide the best healthcare possible.”
