Cathy A. Nichol

DECKERVILLE – Cathy A. Nichol, 51 of Deckerville, and formerly of Melvin, passed away June 6, 2015. She was born February 20, 1964 in Yale to Harry and Erma Royle. Cathy graduated from Brown City High School and in 1990 married Bradley R. Nichol.
Cathy was a housewife and mother and most recently worked as a dietary aide at Autumnwood of Deckerville. She had also worked in Sandusky at Trelleborg and many years in Brown City and Marlette for Lear. She loved to go camping and was very fond of her pet dogs.
She is survived by a son, Aaron (Chealse Bowers) Nichol; Fiance’, Larry Barth; three step-children, Alisa (Ryan) Drabrant, Mike (Jamie) Nichol and Sherrie (Paul) Guttowski; three sisters, Carol Bowen, Virginia Royle and Barbara Woodruff.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bradley R. Nichol; her parents, and two brothers, David and Jim.
A memorial service will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at the Melvin Park, next to the firehall.
