The annual Sandusky Cruise Night and Car Show will take place this Saturday.
The car show will run from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on the Courthouse Lawn. The event is free for the public to attend. Car show entrants will be subject to a $15.00 registration fee, with dash plaques awarded to the first 75 vehicles. Entrants will also compete in a variety of divisional contests, as well as the highly coveted best of show award.
Tire smoke will be rolling at Jensen Bridge & Supply (corner of Argyle & Dawson) from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at a new “burn out pit”, prior to the 6:30 p.m. cruise line-up at the Sandusky High School.
The streets (M-46) will be closed within the city limits starting at 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. for the Cruise Night. The cruisers will “take laps” between the Sandusky D.P.W. Garage and Sandusky Marathon. The cruise event is free of charge to both entrants and spectators.
The event is sponsored by the Sandusky Area Fire Department. For more information about the Car Show, Cruise Night or how you can become a volunteer firefighter contact Chief Todd Hillman at 810-648-3366
