Lighted Farm Implement Parade Returns Saturday

The 22nd Annual Michigan’s Original Country Christmas Lighted Farm Implement Parade is slated for this Saturday at 7:00 p.m. December 5, 2015.
The parade will highlight a full slate of holiday activities starting with the a pair of performances on Thursday at 12:00 noon and 7:00 p.m. of CMH Players production, “Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus” at the Firebird Theater.
The Light Up Their Lives Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Courthouse Lawn at will take place at 6:00 p.m. Friday, followed by caroling performances by both the Countryside Free Methodist Church Youth Choir and Sandusky Elementary Youth.
A Friday & Saturday night Open Skate is planned for Colleen J. Howe Arena for 7:00 p.m.
Relay for Life will hold a “Jingle Bell 5k” as well as a 1-mile fun run starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
You will not want to miss the 10 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, SHS Band Craft & Vendor Show at Sandusky Elementary.
Sandusky First United Methodist Church invites you to their annual Soup Supper before the parade from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Custer Masonic Lodge will return with free pre-parade hot chocolate on South Elk Street.
Bean soup & chili on Elk Street will also be served by the Christian Motorcyclist Association.
Don’t forget about the Boy Scouts selling popcorn & refreshments at the fire hall prior to the parade.
