Carsonville Woman Arrested on Drug Charges

On May 8, the Sanilac County Drug Task Force Officers conducted surveillance which led to the arrest of a 26-year-old Carsonville woman.
The Drug Task Force conducted a traffic stop on S. Van Dyke Rd. near Montgomery Rd. in Marlette Twp. The traffic stop led to the arrest of the 26-year-old female who was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
The female was lodged at the Sanilac County Jail pending arraignment. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
The Sanilac County Drug Task Force was assisted by the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Services and U.S. Border Patrol K-9 Division.
