Five Sanilac County School Districts have paused in person instruction after receipt of a request from Sanilac County Health Department Director- Bryant Wilke. Croswell-Lexington, Marlette, Carsonville-Port Sanilac (9th-12th), and Brown City have all closed their buildings to student instruction.
Sandusky and Deckerville have elected to remain open to classroom instruction, citing a lack of confirmed in-district cases.
Meanwhile, athletics at each of the county schools, including games and practices are still being held. The only known exception from a team standpoint is Sandusky Soccer, currently under isolation until April 23, 2021.
