Marlette Selects Nine Senior Scholars
Amber Bennett is the daughter of Shane and Julianne Bennett of Kingston. Amber plans on attending Baker College to study in their Veterinary Technology Program as she has been awarded Baker College’s Board of Regents Scholarship.
Logan Marshall is the son of Jim and Heather Marshall of Marlette. .
Logan will be attending Bethel University, in Mishawaka, Indiana, to pursue a degree in Elementary Education.
Chase McGinnis is the son of Brian and Kimberly McGinnis of Clifford.
Chase will be attending Ferris State University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Information Security & Intelligence. He has received both the Ferris Next Scholarship and Ferris State’s Founder’s Scholarship, which will cover his full tuition. Chase will be working towards a career in either law enforcement or business.
Christopher Mutch is the son of Dr. Robert and Dr. Janet Mutch of Marlette. .
Christopher plans to attend the University of Arizona to study pre-veterinary medicine.
Margaret Mutch is the daughter of Dr. Robert and Dr. Janet Mutch of Marlette. Margaret will be attending the University of Michigan to major in Actuarial Mathematics and minor in Business Management.
Nathan Reehl is the son of Mark and Suzanne Reehl of Decker.
Nathan will be attending Ferris State University, where he has been accepted into their Honors Program. He has received both the Ferris Next Scholarship and Ferris State’s Founder’s Scholar ship. Nathan plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science.
Logan Solgat is the son of Susan and the late Jerry Solgat of Marlette.
Logan will be attending Ferris State University to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering along with a minor in Business Management. He has received both the Ferris Next Scholarship and Ferris State’s Founder’s Scholarship, which will cover his full tuition. Logan will be working towards his future goal of obtaining a managing position on an engineering team.
Caleb Storm is the son of Craig and Bridget Storm of Clifford. Caleb will be attending Lincoln College of Technology, where his goal is to obtain multiple certifications in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Manufacturing. Caleb’s future career plans are to become a CNC programmer or operator.
Felisha Wells-Pratt is the daughter of Ronald and Sandra Stevens of Marlette.
Felisha is currently committed as a full-time mom and wife. She is undecided as to what her future plans will be.
