McKenzie Welcomes Doctor Helda Souresho
Sanilac County, Mich. – Board-certified family physician Helda Souresho, MD has joined McKenzie Health System, and will care for patients alongside Dr. Mark English and the McKenzie Family Healthcare staff. She will begin seeing patients of all ages on January 6, 2023, and appointment scheduling is available now.
“I am looking forward to meeting the community,” shares Dr. Souresho. “The culture at McKenzie Health System is just what I was looking for and I’m excited to care for patients in a setting that embraces quality, safety, innovation, and excellence.”
Dr. Souresho received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Avalon University School of Medicine after earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oakland University. She is board certified in Family Medicine, as well as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Life Support. She completed her training as a Family Medicine Resident at HCA Houston Healthcare West/University of Houston in Houston, Texas. Dr. Souresho is originally from Shelby Township Michigan where her family still resides, and she is looking forward to meeting new patients from throughout Sandusky and the surrounding area.

An open house is being planned for early next year which will provide community members with an opportunity to meet Dr. Souresho and staff in person. The details will be announced at a future date.
