Sanilac County Community Foundation receives $22,346 in Grants

The Sanilac County Community Foundation (SCCF) is pleased to announce that $22,346.00 in combined grants were given to the following entities during the 2022 Spring Grant cycle:
$2,500 – Camp Cavell Conservancy, to fund camperships for Sanilac County children.
$5,000 – Deckerville Community Activity Center, for Community Center improvements.
$5,000 – The Heartlands Senior Living, for senior fitness equipment.
$2,346 – Hunter Hospitality House, to help provide Sanilac County residents with convenient, free, medical-related lodging in Port Huron.
$4,100 – McKenzie Health System, to purchase books for the “Reach Out and Read” Program.
$3,400 – Sanilac Medical Care Facility, for new outdoor patio furniture for family visiting areas.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled with the work that these organizations are doing to make our community a better place to live, work, and thrive” states Melissa Anderson, executive director of the SCCF.
Since its inception, the Community Foundation has granted over $3.5 million dollars into Sanilac County.
