“The Tin Woman” at the Barn
The Barn Theatre in Port Sanilac is presenting it’s third show of the summer season July 8 and 9. This play by Sean Grennan with Carolyn Clinton, Laura Laveley, Martha Pennington, Kent Maki and Steve Kenny is about Joy who, instead of relishing life after her heart transplant, enters a downward spiral. Meanwhile, Alice and Hank mourn the loss of their son, Jack, whose heart was used to save Joy. Joy tracks down Jack’s family to find closure. But are they ready to accept Jack’s death? Based on a true story, “The Tin Woman” mixes humor and drama to explore loss, family, and what it means to be given new life. Reservations for this show that begins at 8:00 p.m. may be made by calling The Barn Theatre at (810) 479-7739.
