Weekend ComeBack this Friday in Sandusky
Weekend ComeBack is a high-energy variety band! They sing a variety of covers from the 60s through today’s hits. Bobby Darrin to Grand Funk Railroad to Niall Horen, and everything in between – they have you covered in whatever time capsule destination you have in mind.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy Friday’s entry in the Lawnchair Music Series 2023, produced by Sandusky Arts Council.
This four-piece band features four vocalists accompanied by saxophone, bass, guitar, drums, and keyboard. The lead vocals bring unmatched quality and energy to every performance. Their tight four-part harmonies impress, and all of this adds up to infinite possibilities for a great night of entertainment on the courthouse lawn.
Sandusky Arts Council is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to sharing arts with the community. They are always looking for new members to help with the Lawnchair Music Series and to work on other projects. Anyone interested in working with a dedicated group of people who love the arts, please see one of the members at the series, connect with them on Facebook at Sandusky Arts Council, on Twitter at @Sandusky_Arts or on the web page, Sandusky Arts.org. You don’t have to have experience in the arts, just appreciate them and have some energy to spare.
Sandusky Arts Council is able to bring the Lawnchair Music Series to the great stage of the gazebo because of the generous community sponsors. Many thanks to the Diamond Sponsor, Bee Clean Laundry in Croswell; Platinum Sponsors, Community First Title Agency, Elk Street Brewery and Town and Country Animal Care; Gold Sponsors, Agri Valley, Ball Agency, Bee Oily, Graff, Jensen Bridge, Jim’s Plumbing and Heating, Law Office of Scott Radloff, LK Insurance, Sandusky Carwash, Sandusky Concrete, Thumb Bank and Trust, TLC Insurance, VFW, West Park Inn; and this year’s Silver Sponsors, Albrechts, Clear Ideas, Huntington Bank, Marsh Funeral Home, McDonald’s McKenzie Health Systems, Ritchie Entertainment and Deckerville Vet.
The rest of our summer line up includes Stone Street Revival, Ceyx, Flashbacks, and Rod Stewart and Toby Keith tribute entertainers.
In case of inclement weather, the Sanilac County Health Department is allowing the Council to relocate its concerts this year to Maple Valley. The Council will blast this information on all of its social media and on the local radio stations. They will also have very large, teal colored signs announcing the change in venue in prominent places around town.
