Spring, Texas- Mary Jane (Hobson) Berry, 1946-2015, passed away on January 3, 2015, at home in Spring, Texas. Mary Jane was the eldest daughter of Maxine and Harold Hobson of Sandusky, Michigan.
She is survived by her husband, Harry; mother, Maxine Hobson; sisters Sara Hobson and Kathy See; brother, John Hobson; nephew, Jon See Jr.; and her extended family in Michigan.
In life, Mary Jane was a significant presence in the equestrian world through her work at Charlotte’s Saddlery in Tomball, Texas, and the Arabian horse community. Mary Jane was an Honors graduate of Michigan State University and recipient of awards and recognition for her volunteer work with MD Anderson Hospital in Houston and the Anderson Network, along with other numerous organizations and charities.
Mary Jane’s journey has ended and her new life begins. A memorial service will be held on May 2, 2015 at 12:00 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church, Sandusky MI.
