Redskin Review 4/1/15 Edition
This week was wrapped up slightly early as we begin spring break! Even so, the four days we have attended school were jam-packed with a mixture of spring spirit traditions and the preparations for the next marking period. For instance, many announcements were made to contribute to the excitement!
Recently, all our winter sports, drama, band, and academic games were acknowledged at an assembly. This is always a thrilling experience for all the students who have put so much work into the past season. Additionally, a group of seniors were honored for their work throughout all of high school, 2015’s valedictorians and salutatorian. Amazingly, I did say multiple valedictorians; in fact, there are five individuals that have earned this title! Erin Campbell, Allison Campbell, Katrina Tovar, Connor Green, and Ethan Tubbs have all maintained a perfect 4.0 their entire high school career. Not to mention, Samantha Galvan will be awarded the title as salutatorian; due to her determination her GPA is just decimal places away from a perfect 4.0. Hence, I’m sure they’ll all be overwhelmed with congratulations throughout the following weeks!
Hopefully, everyone makes the most of the weeks to come with all the events that we’ve anticipated all winter. Furthermore, the Spring Spirit Spectacular, a week full of competition with various games, was the perfect way to finally step into the new season. Everywhere you look our Sandusky students are making plans for graduation and continuing our reputation for excellent students. Good luck to everyone while we begin the last marking period of this school year!
