Eagles Crush Marion at Home, 46-7

The Deckerville Eagles had an impressive 46-7 win over Marion on Friday night at home.
The Eagles scored twice in the first quarter, on a Brandon Pattullo 63-yd. run with the PAT, a pass to Johnathon Ridley, also complete; and a 17-yd. pass to Wyatt Janowiak from Pattullo, and a PAT run, from Pattullo.
The second quarter was all Deckerville, starting with a touchdown from a Jared Philpot 25-yd. pass interception, and Philpot PAT run. The Eagles scored twice more in the second quarter, on a 9-yd. Pattullo run, and PAT, and a Wade Saldana 1-yd. run, with Ridley carrying in the PAT.
Neither team scored in the third quarter, but Marion came to life in the fourth, scoring on a 52-yd. run, and the kick for extra point being good. The final score in the game came from the Eagles, on a Saldana 2-yd. run, the PAT failed.
Rushing for the Eagles, Austin Fritch 6-37; Brandon Pattullo 3-69; Matthew Buzzo 3-23; Jared Philpot 9-59; Wade Saldana 9-70; Cole Romzek 5-23; and Cruz Ibarra 1-1.
Pattullo passed 3-3-30 and Romzek 2-2-39.
The Eagles had 14 first downs, rushing 40-277 yards, and were 5-5-69 yards passing for a total of 346 yards.
Marion had 2 first downs, and had 50 yards rushing for the night.
