Sandusky Girls Bested by Red Hawks; Drop Sixth in a Row

The Sandusky Girls Varsity Softball team traveled to Cass City for a double-header with the Lady Red Hawks last Thursday. Sandusky dropped both games, 15-0 and 21-5 and slid to 0-6 thus far for the season. Annie Ross, Adalee Kaufman, Alexis Gough, and Alyssa Kitchen each had a hit in the first game. Adalee Kaufman, Isabella Stoutenburg, Alyssa Kitchen, Taryn Tank, Courtney Schomaker each had hits in the second game. Kalli Bender and Kelsey Tomichek each had a double in the second game. “Our program is working through some injuries right now and trying to find the balance of where to put kids in the field and get back healthy.” Stated Sandusky Head Coach Danny Franzel. The Lady Wolves had their first GTC matchup scheduled for Monday, April 17th but the double header against Capac was rescheduled for April 18th due to weather.
