Barbara A. Westfall

SILVERWOOD – Barbara A. Westfall, age 65, of Silverwood, Michigan, passed away peacefully Friday, April 10, 2015 at United Hospice Residence in Marlette, Michigan.
Miss Westfall has lived in Silverwood most of her life and was previously from the Marine City area.
She was born August 29, 1949 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, daughter to the late Aloysius and Marie (Werner) Achatz.
She graduated from Marine City High School in 1967.
Barbara worked at Rubber & Plastics in North Branch, Lear Corporation in Marlette and was a cook for the Tuscola County Jail until her retirement in 2012. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and most of all, spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by Shallen and Tom Campbell (daughter) of Caro; Robert Achatz (brother) of Silverwood; Geraldine and Neil Schaudt (sister) of Clifford; and grandchildren, Krystle, Bryce, Kelsey and Justin Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aloysius and Marie Achatz.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Marlette, with Pastor David J. Sutton officiating.
Burial followed the service in West Burlington Cemetery in Silverwood, Michigan.
Memorials may be donated to the family’s discretionary fund.
Visitation was held on Monday at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette and Tuesday at Our Savior Lutheran Church also in Marlette.
