Deckerville Board extends Contracts for Elementary and High School Principals

The Deckerville Community Schools Board of Education met in regular session on Monday, May 23.
The General Fund bills in the amount of $91,192.65 were approved by the Board.
The Athletic Fund bills in the amount of $1,951.00 were approved by the Board.
The Food Service Fund bills in the amount of $23,574.19 were approved by the Board.
The Student/School Activity Fund bills in the amount of $5,281.99 were approved by the Board.
The Capital Projects Fund bills in the amount of $3,147.14 were approved by the Board.
The Board approved to extend the contracts for Matthew Connelly, Elementary Principal and Josh Stern, High School Principal.
The Board approved the renewal of the Chartwells contract for the period beginning July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023.
The Board approved the MHSAA Membership Resolution for 2022-23.
The Board accepted, with regret, the retirement of Nancy Kritzman-Pozsgay, 4th grade teacher, effective June 30, 2022.
The Board accepted, with regret, the retirement of Scott McVittie, Bus Driver, Transportation Supervisor, and Athletic Director, effective July 29, 2022.
The Board approved to spend budget surplus money.
