Last week we asked our readers to name their favorite Halloween treats. Peggy Day said her favorite was candy corn. Peggy likes to eat the candy corn one layer at a time. Peggy Ross said “It doesn’t matter, as long as it’s chocolate!” Dan Nichol prefers an all time classic: Snickers. Tom Miller would like a caramel apple coated with nuts. Kathy Kelly likes a popcorn balls, Jim Turbok is hoping for some Almond Joys. Other answers included: Milk Duds, Apple Cider with a warm donut, Kit Kats, Twix, Reeses, Dots, Classic Hershey Bars, plain M&M’s, 100 Grand, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, Starburst, Skittles, and Butterfingers. Some of our readers went a step further and told us their least favorite candies. Several readers said candy corn was their least favorite (Peggy Day and I will take those off your hands), Circus Peanuts, and a candy of yesterday known as horehound candy that tastes like medicine.
