McKenzie Health System Foundation Community Relations Committee hosted their Annual Go Red Ladies Night Event last Thursday night at Woodland Hills G.C. The women were given information about heart health and strokes and preventative steps. Vendors were also there for the women to shop and get information.
DelMarie Ehresman, BSN, RN, Clinical Consultant-Educator at Ascension Michigan shared important information about heart health and strokes. Along with a video demonstration at stroke care available at McKenzie, Del went over prevention steps community members can take, signs to watch for, and what to do if they suspect they or someone the love are having a stroke.
