Nelson “I Am Sport” Winner

Haley was the winner of the Detroit Free Press Sports Award “I Am Sport” that was held Friday night at the Fillmore Theater in Detroit. She was called up onto the stage, and gave an acceptance speech. The award recognizes high school student athletes that are passionate about improving lives of the youth in their commuity. They are nominated and voted in by community members, determining the winner of the award.
